Responsibilities:

1. Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and specialized modalities as requested by clients.
2. Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and customize massage treatments accordingly.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available and sanitized according to spa protocols.
4. Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized wellness plans to support their health and wellness goals.
5. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service, providing a warm and welcoming environment for all clients.
6. Collaborate with other spa team members to coordinate services and enhance the overall guest experience.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and product offerings to continuously improve service quality and client satisfaction.
8. Adhere to all licensing requirements and ethical standards governing massage therapy practice.
9. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times. 
10. Supply any specialized tools, lotions, oils needed to perform service duties.

Qualifications:

1. Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist and current insurance.
2. Minimum of 2  years of experience (preferred, not required) in a professional spa or wellness setting.
3. Proficiency in a variety of massage modalities and techniques.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client appointments.
7. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the field of massage therapy.

Job Overview:
Eleventh Element Relaxation Spa is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spa Assistant to join our team. This flexible part-time role is vital to ensuring our spa remains a serene and welcoming environment for our clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for client care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spa Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, common areas, and storage spaces.
• Laundry Duties: Handle laundry efficiently, ensuring towels, robes, and linens are clean, fresh, and readily available.
• Client Care: Assist in welcoming clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
• Restocking: Monitor and restock supplies in treatment rooms and other areas as needed.
• Assisting Staff: Provide support to massage therapists and other team members, ensuring seamless spa operations.
• General Duties: Perform other tasks as required to uphold the spa’s high standards of service and ambiance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing 20+ pounds.
